We started at the tourism industry and we are shareholders of the company B&C Konzertveranstaltungs GmbH, which has developed very successfully in the organization of classical concerts in Vienna.
Based on the experience gained in the tourism industry in the field of customer acquisition and support, the successful cooperation with large travel agencies and the visit of various tourism fairs (Vienna, Berlin, Seoul, Madrid, Barcelona, ...), we made the decision in 2018 to buy the Citytixx.com platform.
One of the insights that we have gained from our experience is the primary focus on customer requirements, which led to the development of the “Enjoy Your Trip” project.
After the takeover, Citytixx.com undertook a relaunch in order to be able to offer partners and customers even more service and variety and to meet the applicable quality standards.
One of the first innovative steps taken was to upgrade the platform to a high-performance CMS platform, on which the new features, widgets, scoring options and the integration of external data sources were possible.
The data is delivered via a standardized interface (API) and with the help of individual widgets.
Citytixx.com's next step in the whole process was the development of the “Enjoy Your Trip” application. The function of this application is the planning of the right offers for every weather, interest and the consideration of the necessary time intervals.
Operators of websites with related content can generate search masks for tourist events for selected countries or cities themselves and integrate them into their website. The added benefit for partners is that they are proactively suggested to travelers who are demonstrably interested.
The offers from organizers are not just part of a large database: If the offers are appropriately tagged, they are most likely "found" automatically.
